Jeffrey Wolf Green’s Evolutionary Astrology

Join Steve Wolfson and Jeffrey Wolf Green's daughter Deva Green for a discussion of the Evolutionary Astrology principles that Jeffrey Wolf Green (founder of Evolutionary Astrology and author of the best selling book Pluto: The Evolutionary Journey of the Soul) taught for many years.  Learn how Pluto by house/sign symbolizes the past, present, and future desire nature of each Soul.   Learn to recognize and interpret the karmic evolutionary signature found in each birth chart.  During this talk you will be exposed to the foundational principles of Evolutionary Astrology and how they can be applied within the astrology work you already do.

Applying the Evolutionary Astrology paradigm

This four hour workshop will ground the principles discussed on Friday.  We start by reviewing the core principles, and then expand on them.  Additional topics discussed will include: the archetypes of the 12 signs from an EA perspective, evolutionary stages of Soul development, and Pluto aspects, in particular Mars/Pluto. There will be ongoing Q & A.  We will ground discussions of EA principles by doing chart work, demonstrating how EA chart analysis is done.   (To offer your chart for use during the workshop, email birth info to steve@stevewolfson.com)   

Deva Green is the daughter of the founder of Evolutionary Astrology, Jeffrey Wolf Green. She has studied with her father for many years, and is now becoming a teacher of the work. She is currently the director of the Jeffrey Wolf Green Evolutionary Astrology School in the U.S.  She is offering astrology readings and tutoring for those who wish to learn EA.  Her first book, "Evolutionary Astrology" was published by Llewellyn in 2009.  It is a handbook that applies the core principles of EA taught in her father's Pluto Vol. 1 book.   Deva will have signed copies of her book for sale at the events.  Her website is devagreen.com and her email address is devagreen@fastmail.fm

Steve Wolfson came of age in the 60's. He participated in many of that decade’s well known events. He had his first spiritual experiences in his late teens.  These fed his lifelong desire to help others. His life blew up in the mid-nineties when, as he later learned, Pluto was transiting his ascendant. Five years later he moved to the west coast.  There he discovered Evolutionary Astrology, which speaks deeply to his soul. Steve lives in Ashland Oregon.  He does many EA readings, in person and by phone.  He is a natural counselor type. We are the People We’ve Been Waiting For

The Cardinal Climax has already erupted. The shell that has housed humanity has cracked and can't be put back together again. What do we do? Go down with a crumbling world, or reinvent a new one? These are the times that call for us to be our most innovative and inventive rather than relying on old ways. We need to access the 85% of our collective intelligence that lies dormant, to solve our current global issues. In astrology, it is the outer planets that can take us beyond the shell of our limited perspective and help awaken the dormant giant of our greater being. The Neptune/Chiron conjunction in Aquarius calls for a gathering of the healing tribes to birth a new collective vision. The Uranus/Jupiter conjunction in Pisces awakens compassionate action. The Uranus/Pluto square from 2012-2015 will birth a new quest for alternative lifestyles. All in all, it is humanity itself that must rise up and save humanity; I guess that’s us.

Healing Waters

The Water element is easily the least understood of the four elements in our modern culture. We readily accept Fiery, Earthy and Airy individuals, where we tend to think Watery types are just too sensitive! You have to be courageous to explore your emotional nature because you will not get support or guidance from your culture, which mostly treats emotions as troublesome. When integrated the water signs and houses are where we feel, not think, our way though life. Water is where and how we nurture ourselves, empathize with others, and connect with the divine. Water in your chart is where you can be healed, restored and rejuvenated.

Our workshop today will focus on reconnecting with the water throughout our birthcharts; the the water signs, 4^th, 8^th, and 12^th houses, and the Moon, Pluto, and Neptune. Our focus will be to come to a healthy understanding of our emotional sensitivity in these areas of our lives and to provide for their unique needs. These are meant to be slow blossoming areas of your life. We will strategize together to consider what type of situations would most benefit you incorporating this dimension into your life. Bring your chart and your family’s charts, and we will explore this watery realm together.

David Pond is an internationally recognized astrologer, author, speaker and workshop leader. He and his wife Laurie lead groups to spiritual sites around the world for adventure and workshops on integrating metaphysics into daily life. He has been a practicing professional astrologer since 1975 and has a Master of Science Degree in “Experimental Metaphysics” from Central Washington University.
